It Sold!!!

I keep forgetting to mention in our posts that our house in Alabama did indeed sell. It actually sold less than six weeks after we listed it. We were a little worried since the market in Hartselle was far from booming and our house was priced over the average price per square foot in the town. However, we knew it had a lot of extras that most of the other houses on the market didn't. Our major concern, in addition to finding a buyer, was in their ability to secure financing based on the house's appraisal. When we bought the house, it was appraised using the average price per square foot without the appraiser ever visiting the house. God worked everything out perfectly by sending us a cash offer from a local woman who wanted to buy it for her granddaughter. Because the house sold so quickly, we never had to pay double mortgage payments.
