A few weekends ago we went to the Celadon warehouse after I found out about it while browsing Southern Style. Celadon is a really nice and somewhat pricey furniture store in Mount Pleasant (Charleston area). They open their warehouse twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm where they sell discounted items. It was pretty awesome.
There were lots of coffee tables between $200 and $300.
A lot of the bookcases were between $500 and $1000.
They had a great collection of sofas and chairs.
We didn't find anything that worked for our specific needs but there were a lot of cool pieces at reasonable prices and we will be going back to check it out every few weeks.

Wow! Wish there was a place like this near me. Dropping by from Furniture Feature Friday. Hope you'll drop by to see my chairs.

Yeah, you definitely have to make it a place you drop into once in a while. It's a true outlet, which I love about it. Every once in a while, they'll have some killer deal but most of their stuff is too rich for my blood! I did get a very slightly damaged coffee table (hairline crack on one corner) for only $100; which for Celadon is cheap and it's NICE coffee table. Heavy as all get out though.
ReplyDeleteThink I told you this already but check out GDC too. They have a big sale once a year that's got huge discounts. Can't remember when they have it. Their clearance store is in the store on Savannah Hwy.
Also, Charleston Junior League has Whale of a Sale; the city's largest garage sale once a year. It's held at Gaillard Auditorium; think the October/November timeframe.
Hello! I found your blog today at At The Picket Fence. Your renovations are amazing. We are renovating the house my husband grew up in. We lived in Mt. Pleasant before I retired from teaching school. You can see our renovations at
